Fred Perry
President

Frederick Perry is a native of Milwaukee Wisconsin but has been a resident Georgian for over 30 years. Mr. Perry currently resides in Douglasville, Ga., and serves as the Human Resource Director for the Douglas County Board of Commissioners. Prior to this designation, Mr. Perry served as Human Resource Director for the City of Douglasville for ten years and has held positions with the Georgia Board of Regents, Georgia State University and the Georgia Department of Transportation. In addition to his various roles in Human Resources, Mr. Perry has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of West Georgia, West Central Technical College and as an Online Instructor and course architect for DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management. Mr. Perry earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Clark Atlanta University and a Master of Public Administration from Georgia State University. Mr. Perry has also earned senior level professional licensure from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Georgia Local Government Personnel Association (GLGPA).

Mr. Perry is a proud life member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and currently serves as the President of the Stepping Stones Foundation.

On a personal note, for fifteen years Mr. Perry has been happily married to Mrs. LaShanda K. Perry. They often play host to their Godson, Goddaughter and a multitude of nieces and nephews. Mr. Perry is an avid runner… having participated in numerous 5K, 10K and half marathon races and finally took on the immense challenge of completing his first full marathon (The Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon) in 2016. Additionally, Mr. Perry enjoys cycling, boot camp style workouts, viewing competitive sports both professional and collegiate and music of all genres. Mr. Perry is a covenant member of the Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral.

Marcus Harley
Vice President

Marcus has served as a Dean of Students; Athletic Director; teacher representative to the local school advisory council; leader for a single-gender academy and a freshman academy; professional development facilitator; grade level chair; content area team leader; wrestling, football, and basketball coach; mentor and classroom teacher focusing on character development, exceptional learners and students with special needs.  

Marcus began his teaching career in 1996, teaching elementary school. He then moved on to middle school, teaching gifted science, math and social studies. Marcus has spent the last thirteen years teaching high school science and coaching. Through his various roles Marcus has developed his leadership skills. He his rooted in his passion to help students find success in the areas they find most difficult.

Marcus received his Bachelor of Science degree from Xavier University of Louisiana where he studied Microbiology and Biochemistry. He matriculated through Kennesaw State University and Capella University, achieving his Masters of Education and Educational Specialist degrees, respectively.

Believing a work-life balance, Marcus loves to dedicate quality time to his wife, Katrina. He is an active father to his three children, Miles, Kelly, and Anthony.  Understanding his responsibility to serve his community, Marcus volunteers in various capacities and mentors young men and women. Marcus also enjoys cooking and music.

Quinton J. Dixon, Jr.
Treasurer

Quinton has been an Information Technology (IT) Quality Assurance Analyst/Engineer for over 20 years. Having worked in IT departments for a diverse group of industries ranging from insurance, financial services, card credit transaction processing, automobile remarking, auditing and currently e-commerce marketing solutions.  

Quinton began his professional career as a Financial Control Analyst for AFLAC Incorporated in Columbus, Georgia in 1995. He transitioned to a role as Quality Assurance Analyst in 1998. In 2001 Quinton transitioned to the role of Project Analyst while working for TSYS Incorporated, then returning to AFLAC Incorporated as a Quality Analyst in 2003. In 2004, Quinton relocated to Sandy Springs, Georgia and accepted a position at AIG Insurance as Senior Quality Assurance Analyst. From 2007 to 2014 Quinton was a Lead QA Engineer for Manheim Auctions leading onshore and offshore QA teams. From 2014 to 2016 Quinton was employed with Ernst & Young as Lead QA Analyst where he continued to lead QA teams. Currently Quinton is Lead QA Analyst for SapientRazorfish, one of the world leaders in e-commerce consulting and marketing. Quinton managed offshore QA resources in India, Brazil, Pakistan and China.  

Quinton received his Bachelor of Accounting and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from Troy University. He later achieved his Master of Project Management (MPM) degree from Keller Graduate School of Management. Quinton has professional certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).  

Quinton is a proud father of three children. Quinton is a dedicated co-parent to his 10-year son Quinton Dixon Jr. who is the love of his life.  He has two daughters, Jasmine Dixon age 25, a graduated of Georgia State University and Tara Rose age 24, a graduate of Miles College.

Keino Jones, Sr.
Secretary

Kieno B. Jones Sr. Kieno is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. During his childhood challenges of growing up in the inner city, he realized the importance of working hard, commitment and helping others.  As a student of the Atlanta Public School System, he felt the void from not having a mentor who could inspire, encourage and assist him in reaching some of his goals and endeavors.

After graduating from high school, Kieno attended Knoxville College where he met the love of his life, Wendolyn. Before long, he transferred to Clark Atlanta University where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the School of Business with a concentration in Marketing.  After graduation, he matriculated through real estate courses which would prove to be valuable later in life. Also, he became certified in fire control panels and became a master technician specialist in the security inductry. He work as a specialist and managed some high level companies for over ten years before he established his own security business in 1999 called System Alert Security Incorporated. Shortly after, he established an investment company in 2005. Kieno is a true portrait of humble and a devout servant. His company is known for providing great customer service. He also volunteers countless hours at the park and reacreation center, middle schools and local activites for youth. He has served as a volunteer assistant football coach for a local middle school football team and started a mentoring session for young men and adults. He has sponsored fishing trips, cooking classes and inspring sessions to movitate others.

As a final point, Kieno's strong belief in religion, family and community involvement ranks very high in his value in living with a purpose, commitment and inspiring others. As a kidney transplant survivor, he looks forward to mentoring other people who suffers from kidney disease.  Kieno is grateful for his strongest supporters, his beautiful wife, Wendolyn and his two inspiring children, Kieno II and Kya for showing the greatest act of service  – Love.

Chris Brown
Member at Large

Christopher has been in the Health and Fitness profession since 2010.  He is currently a Group Training Coordinator at Life Time Fitness in Alpharetta, Georgia where he has been a fitness professional there since 2011.    

Christopher's health and fitness experience involves weight loss and total body transformation, group fitness training, and metabolic conditioning. He has received his training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-CPT), Active Isolated Stretching and Strengthening, and Kettle-bell Training Certification through the Athletics and Fitness Association of America.  

Before entering into the fitness industry, Christopher has also worked in the broadcast television field where he worked for ESPN (Bristol, Connecticut) in the Programming Integrations department and also at The Discovery Channel (Silver Springs, Maryland) as a Quality Control analyst.  Christopher has also received his bachelor degree in Broadcast Journalism from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia in 2004.

Investing in family first, Christopher is enjoys his life with his wife, Brittany.  He also serves in the Marriage Ministry at his local church.
